In my spare time I've done a lot of writing either on my own or for the Marketing department at Conestoga as part of my job as a Student Ambassador. For the school I wrote several articles about different student's accomplishments last year including this story below about one of our students attending the World Wrestling Championships in Turkey.

VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE

• Developed and communicated two media training sessions with Conestoga’s PR Program Coordinator for presentations to the Kitchener Rangers.
• Assisted with the NHL Rookie Tournament at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium in 2009 as a Media Liaison.
• Participated as a member of residence’s Social Orientation Staff (SOS) last year which included organizing events and moving students in. Was also the Athletic Rep for SOS who planned sports events for the students of res.
• Assisted with the Lung Association’s Amazing Pace 2008 in Kitchener/Waterloo
